Champion MaineTainer. The Grand Champion
Maine Anjou steer was exhibited by
Keaton Lundquist and Elley Neuzil
showed the Reserve Champion steer.
Any
heifers purchased by a Junior member at the Iowa
Beef Expo are eligible for the Iowa Maine
Anjou Heifer Futurity. The heifers purchased at
the sale compete during the Summer Field Day for
extra cash awards. The champion heifer receives
$500 and the reserve champion receives $300.
This is a tremendous incentive for Junior
members to purchase a female during the Iowa
Beef Expo Maine Anjou Sale. The Champion this
year went to Charlie Wilson and Reserve honors
went to Sarah Butler. |
